PENGEMBANGAN DAN IMPEMENTASI KECERDASAN MAJEMUK (MULTIPLE INTELLEGENCE) DI PONDOK PESANTREN DAARUL KHAIR KOTABUMI

Abstract

Abstract: Every child has intelligence and has different competencies. This is in accordance with the theory put forward by Howard Gardner regarding multiple intelligences. This research will discuss the development and implementation of multiple intelligences in the Daarul Khair Islamic Boarding School, Kotabumi, North Lampung.

The linguistic aspect of language intelligence at the Daarul Khair Islamic Boarding School is stimulated by muhadhoroh activities (student speech practice), making mading (wall magazines). Giving and repeating vocabulary and conversations in Arabic and English. Aspects of Mathematical Logical Intelligence are developed in the subjects of Mathematics, Science and faraidl science. Visual-spatial intelligence is stimulated by learning calligraphy, making strimin cloth and pioneering in scouting activities. Musical intelligence is developed by hadroh, kosidah, and Simtudhurar reading. Kinesthetics intelligence is developed by regular sports activities, gymnastic extracurricular activities and karate. Intrapersonal intelligence is developed by the habit of self-discipline.

Interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence is developed by students by socializing with fellow students for 24 hours. Naturalist intelligence is developed by always cleaning the environment regularly and on a scheduled basis. The students are also trained to maintain the beauty of the park in the cottage environment. Existential intelligence is internalized in the souls of students in the form of amaliyah mandatory five-time prayer in congregation and sunnah rawatib praying, sunnah dhuha praying, sunnah tahajjud praying, amaliyah mujahadah and routine weekly recitation of the DalaiIl Khairat book.
